Hello from another former accutane patient and frequent fainter! The triggers and symptoms you mention totally ring true. I’ve passed out (to name a few places) in yankee stadium, doctors offices, classrooms, parties etc - luckily all relatively funny after the fact. Thanks for writing this!
I've been diagnosed with vasovagal syncope as well, though quite recently (2013) and with different triggers. Thank you for writing about it and sharing your experience!
I think I was 19 or 20 the first time I donated blood. I got about half way through and the nurse said “Your done, you are not having a good experience. So we are going to stop.” I had to lay there for about a half an hour. Good news is I’m scheduled to donate blood at The Red Cross on February 23. ❤️
I can so relate to your story today. I too had the syncope experience while giving blood. Pretty frightening and I don't attempt it anymore. I hope you didn't jinx it by saying how long it has been since the last one!! Good luck!
